bycrofts of boston ltd is looking for a part-time or full-time Shop Assistant to join our team in our Boston store. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and dependable. This position will work closely with our customers to help them find the perfect product for their needs.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, who enjoys interacting with people and helping them find the right product for their needs. This position will also be responsible for helping maintain cleanliness in our store, including sweeping and mopping the floor, and keeping the shop clean, organized, and tidy at all times.
Experience with basic tools is required. We are willing to train anyone with no experience in retail or customer service.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers when they enter the store
- Helping customers find the correct product based on their needs
- Taking orders, processing payments, and shipping orders as needed
- Cleaning the store bathroom daily during business hours
- Maintaining cleanliness of the store including mopping floors, sweeping, and mopping the ceiling
- Assisting customers with returns when necessary
- Assisting with inventory control during regular business hours
- Assisting with other store operations as needed
Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 2 months
Salary: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
