Revenues Officer [United Kingdom]


 

37 hours per week

We are looking to recruit a conscientious and enthusiastic individual to join our Revenues Team within the Chief Executives directorate. An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and organised individual with good customer service skills, to be part of the Revenues Team, who is committed to maximising the collection of Council Tax and National Non Domestic Rates whilst continually improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the service provided to our customers.

Your key duties will be to ensure that all schedule amendments as notified by the Valuation Office for both Council Tax and Non Domestic Rating lists are actioned accurately and reconciled, and any discrepancies are fully investigated. The work requires a high level of commitment and enthusiasm with accuracy, good organisational skills and attention to detail. You will have good communication skills with the ability to work on your own initiative and have good IT skills. Currently all staff are predominately working from home so the facility to home work is essential.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post
