Hill House Care Home is looking for a Maintenance/Handyperson
This role is part time, 25 to 30 Hours per week Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities to include -
- General decorating, painting, tiling and all reasonable maintenance duties as directed
- General plumbing, carpentry and basic electrical knowledge
- Responding to maintenance requests and rectifying any maintenance issues within agreed deadlines
- Carrying out preventative maintenance per the required schedule
- Dealing with equipment repair and ensuring that repair is carried out effectively and in cost efficient manner
- Garden and outbuilding maintenance
- General gardening duties and ensuring perfect presentation of planters and hanging baskets
- Weekly, Monthly checks, fire alarms, emergency lighting, Water temperatures and all associated tasks (Training will be provided)
- Monitoring health and safety issues
- Being aware and complying with all health & safety requirements
